Three styles, any colour
Every template can be switched between three styles in the generator: Carbon (a colour rule across the top and a tinted table header), Block (a solid colour band carrying your logo and details) and Plain (black and white, kindest to office printers). Pick one of six colours or match your brand exactly with a custom colour.
Template or generator?
A downloadable Word or spreadsheet template leaves the arithmetic to you, and a mistyped total is the classic reason an invoice gets bounced back. Here every line total, tax amount and balance is recalculated as you type, and numbering continues from your last saved invoice.

Are these invoice templates free?
Yes, all of them, with no sign-up or watermark. Each opens in the generator pre-filled with an example you can overwrite.
Can I download an invoice template as PDF?
Yes. Fill in the template on screen and press Download PDF. You get an A4 PDF you can email or print.
Can I use a template in Word or Excel?
We deliberately build the invoice in the browser instead: the maths is done for you and the PDF cannot be accidentally edited. If you need a paper form, open the blank template and print it with empty rows.
Which invoice template should I use?
Pick the one that matches how you price: hourly for time, freelance for project fees, contractor for labour plus materials, commercial for international shipments, and proforma when you need payment before delivery.
