✅ Good News: InvoicePro is a client-side application. All your invoice data is processed and stored locally in your browser. We never collect, store, or transmit your invoice data to our servers.
What We Don't Collect
- Invoice data: Your company details, client information, line items, and financial data are stored only in your browser's local storage.
- Personal information: We do not require you to create an account, so we don't collect names, email addresses, or passwords.
- Payment information: We never process payments or collect credit card information.
- Documents: Generated PDFs are created client-side and saved directly to your device. We never see or store your invoices.
What We Do Collect
We collect minimal, anonymized data to improve our service:
- Analytics: We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to track page views, button clicks, and general usage patterns. This data is anonymized and does not include personal information.
- Technical logs: Standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, timestamps) are collected automatically for security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are retained for a limited time.
- Cookies: We use minimal cookies for essential functionality (e.g., remembering your template preference). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Local Storage & Your Data
InvoicePro uses your browser's local storage to save:
- Your company profile (business name, logo, address, etc.)
- Your most recent 10 invoices for quick reference
- Your invoice number counter
- Your template and color preferences
Important: This data never leaves your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the "Clear Form" button in the invoice generator.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Vercel (Hosting): Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard server logs as part of their service. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly, anonymized usage analytics. No personal data is collected.
Data Security
Since all invoice data is processed client-side in your browser:
- Your data is as secure as your device and browser
- All connections to our website use HTTPS encryption
- No invoice data is transmitted to or stored on our servers
- We recommend keeping your device secure and using up-to-date browsers
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, most data rights don't apply. However:
- Right to Delete: You can delete your local invoice data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.
- Right to Opt-Out: You can disable analytics by using browser extensions that block analytics scripts.
- Right to Access: All your data is stored locally in your browser and accessible to you at all times.
Children's Privacy
InvoicePro is intended for use by adults creating business invoices. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used our service, please contact us.
